Natalie McLachlan

Registered Social Worker Psychotherapist

Our past and current experiences shape who we are today; and sometimes negative events or stressful experiences can interfere with how we are feeling about ourselves and our relationships with others. Sometimes we lose sight that things can get better.

I will meet you where you are at with a down-to-earth and non-judgemental approach. I enjoy using an eclectic approach that is client-centered, trauma-informed and catered to your unique needs and therapy goals.

I strive to create a comfortable space to explore the areas of your life creating barriers to contentment and well-being. I value the importance of doing the work together to encourage and support your personal growth so that you can move forward to achieve your goals.

Experience:

Natalie is a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of front-line experience. She has worked in front-line service with children, youth, individuals and families completing bio-psycho-social assessments and supporting people dealing with depression, anxiety, addictions, and trauma experiences.

In addition to her professional and educational experience, she brings personal experience being a member of a First Responder family and has extended family members in the Canadian Forces. Through these life experiences she has an intimate understanding of the trauma, challenges and sacrifices faced by those who serve and their families who support them.
